Establish a Speaker Program
Your 1st Meeting

The objective for 2006 is to have at least 2 Speaker events (1 speaker minimum). This "2 technical event" minimum is a requirement from IEEE.  In absence of this minimum, the IEEE Section which houses your chapter, will not receive funds on your behalf from IEEE for the subsequent year.

But we expect you to have a much higher level of operations than just 2 meetings per year.  The "best practice" approach is to be develop a 12 month speaker program in advance and use it in all the the chapter announcements to the public.

WE CAN HELP

For chapters formed in 2006, we have offered to help you establish a 3 to 4 month speaker program.  Feel free to contact us and ask for help.  gosset@ieee.org
